I am having an issue with a slab of verde laboradite.  I polished out the ogee edge and the edge is much lighter color than the top itself.  I have tried ager, tiger ager, color enhancer, and black petro with no luck.  Can anyone give me some advice?  Thanks.  My name is Tommy and I can be reached at 850-399-0097.

Tommy,
can you post pictures so we can see how big the difference in color is?

Some stones, typically green ones, can darken when exposed to UV light. I dont know if this is one of them but it sounds possible. with the stones that this applies to, the fabricator will place the top out in the sun for a few days and the edge will darken and match the top.

I cannot tell you whether this will work on this stone, it's only one possibility.

did you apply the ager and other products after the polishing had been finished, or during the polishing process? stones like labradorite are not very porous when polished will rarely take anything. applying at 400 and 800 grit will allow more to be absorbed into the surface of the stone.
