I am looking into purchasing the accuglide saw for cutting 2cm granite for about $5000.  Has anyone used this setup before and if so what are your opinions on it?  Thanks for your help

We have a new saw coming in from Superabrasives that is better than the accuglide as it can also be used for a router. It costs about the same, has an auto feed and if you want I can get you info on it.
Let me know.

Glad to be of service,

I just talked to them about the saw and it is not ready for sale yet...it has a cutting head that uses a blade and a router head that takes router bits with a standard arbor.
The machine is excellent for doing straight runs and it is the type that you can turn on and walk away from it and come back when it is done.

I would like to tell you more about it but as of right now they are still tinkering with the final product. As soon as I know more you will know more.
