What is the best way to get a chip free seam? thanks, terry.

|
use a cnc, water jet, back bevel the seam and hone the edge to about a 200 grit. there is a new product that just hit the market a couple of months ago called the seam phantom. if you are a fabricator its worth the money. if youre a DIY dont waste your money. you will get an absolutely chip free rediculously tight seam. i honestly dont even have any contact info for it, maybe Mark knows. we just saw it at Stone Expo this weekend.

I saw the Seam Phantom at work at Stone expo and I think it is a great tool! I can see how even a novice could use it and make perfectly tight seams! Let me know if you want some contact information. Mark

You will be really impressed by the tightness of the seams. Make sure you learn to top polish so that you can't feel them either! Mark
