Has anyone had any issues with tops cracking along rodding backcuts...Huh? We have had 4-6 tops crack in the last 1 1/2 years, directly in line with our fiberglass rodding.....It's getting expensive replacing these tops.

Jnc,
we had that problem on a couple of tops it was 2 cm we thought that our cut was too deep to accommodate the rod
I don't know if that is what caused our problem but we started using 1/4" galvanized threaded rod and made sure our
cut was only 1/8" deeper than the rod , we haven't had the problem since
