Here I am in Britain just abut to buy granite tiles and I am told they need sealing, so of course I go about trying to research which sealer. Nice video on you tube and 20 sites later I find myself here. I am so shocked at the so called professionals. Last time I felt like this was in a school playground. I'm still clueless as to how many of you are working for granite shield, Three was my last count. I came here looking for answers and even though this is a post that is old others will do the same as I.  So for the wife .... if you believe in your husbands company and you believe in him you do not have to justify the product.  A good product will always sell by itself. The fact that you feel the need to justify it by whatever cost (email post) leaves me cold. Why would anyone resort to these tactics on a forum. My husband would be horrified if I did similar things where his business was concerned. In fact if I acted in this way I would be ridiculed and worse my husbands credibility would be in question. I am sure you love your husband but your not doing him any favors entering into this kind of nonsense. I think you husband is a wise man for not getting involved in all of this. I came here looking for answers and more information on granite and I leave this thread seriously thinking about buying an oak floor instead  Roll Eyes

It isn't that way...some people just use guerrilla tactics to make sales. If when the stone gets wet it absorbs moisture and gets dark by all means seal it to stainproof it against oil based or water based stains.
