I want to re-tile my shower, I was told to use epoxy instead of grout.  I never used epoxy before so I like to know if it can be used the same way grout is used.

I want to make sure I understand correctly - you want to grout your tile with epoxy? That is very unusual. I have heard of using caulk as a grout, but not an epoxy.

Are you confusing this with epoxy grout? You wouldn't use epoxy grout for grouting tile - it is used structurally for tying an addition into an existing footing or in commercial kitchens as it is so dense that bacteria have a problem living in it.

Please tell me more about your project so I can give you some ideas. Tell me the type of tiles (ceramic, granite, travertine, porcelain) and the size of the tiles and grout joints as well as if they are being used horizontally, vertically or both.
