I've purchased a 4-hole faucet for my new kitchen. I have the spec sheet, but there is no template for drilling holes in the granite countertop. How does the granite installer determine where to drill?

the installer would have you stand there and point to where you want holes to be. so to make it simple, take the fixtures out of the boxes and do a mock setup. set them up up where you like them and mark the spots. we usually do 4-5 inches apart.
