Author Topic: Gaps in fireplace surround  (Read 696 times)

We had a granite fireplace surround installed and the fabricator did not make the top piece long enough to make all sides square.  We assumed that the mantle would cover the edges but the carpenter was not able to hide the un-even edges.  Any suggestions on how  I can fill in the gaps between the mantel and the granite? There is about a ¼ of an inch gap.

Send me a picture so I can see the damage please. I need that to make a recommendation.

Is this guy a licensed contractor? If so he should fix it for you.
