--------------------------------------------------------------------------------just thought id share.

the contractor working for this poor woman was getting paid a lot of money to hire shitty workers to do very shitty work. these hacks installed this travertine floor and took off with the money. unfortunately, they did a very good job grouting, which means none of it came out during the grind. i wish it wouldve come out, because they used a bad color, and i wanted to replace it with a nice color. the woman was very skeptical, but since we had done work for year a year previously (ill post pics of that in another section), she signed the contract and away we went.
to begin with, this is a cheap stone, with VERY soft spots and A LOT of fill. i believe i did the best i could with what i had to work with. i filled the floor with linen grout and finished with a 600 honing powder after 400 diamonds. this job took place in the master bedroom/bathroom/closet which was 1300 sq feet. i may be doing the rest of the house later now that she sees what it can be. check it out.
