Any hints on soapstone installation would be appreciated. I am a home owner planning a do-it-yourself installation.

Let's start with Epoxy. What type should I use. How much is required for a typical 25" joint, what are the procedures, and what should I know about color matching the seams?

You can even use polyester resin for soapstone. It will work on laminations and on seams. You can hit it with Ager to bring out the color. It will last much longer than mineral oil.
