I have proposed some options to the contractor for resolution so we'll have to see what happens now.

Cameron, I re-sent the pics and a PDF file with pics and descriptions.

 Shocked  thats embarassing work. id say thats grounds for a replacement, you probably should have an attorney ready. i would never accept anything close to that. the scratches and the cracks alone make me wonder how they thought they could get away with it. im pissed off for you.

i actually upgraded from xp pro on my old HP laptop, i downloaded all the drivers from hp's website and i havent had a single issue in 4 months.
