We both learned something about the product. I learned that sometimes less is more!
Remember that you should reseal the stone periodically. How long periodically is depends on the wear and how much stuff you get on the stone. Remember that alkaline solutions will remove sealer.

I am glad your wife will speak to you again. That is a VERY good thing!

Glad to be of service,
Mark

applying a color enhancing sealer to stones like black galaxy, and black absolute is a waste of time and money. they are extremely dense stones and do not need to be sealed, or color enhanced. put some water on an unsealed piece of that stone, let it sit for about 5 or 10 minutes, wipe off the water and dry it. do you see a dark spot? if not, the stone did not absorb the water and therefore will not absorb any sealer. when a stone is polished, it has as much color brought out of it that youre going to get, unless you sanded or ground a piece of stone that was heavily treated with resin at the factory, so a color enhancer would be pointless as well.
