We are going to remodel the kitchen with a new granite countertop.  Does anyone have advise on how to select a good fabricator?

If your state has a governing board for construction you can use that to find out a little history about your contractor. Here is Arizona we have the Registrar of Contractors and they have lots of history so you can see if the contractor is a problem to deal with. Look for disputes and resolutions. You can also check with the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce. If you use a contractor that has been in business for more than just a little while you are better off in my opinion.

Glad to be of service,
Mark
