Is there a resin or expoxy material that can be used on unfilled travertine as an alternative to sanded grout? The desired effect is to preserve the unfilled look of the stone and "see through". Will resin or epoxy yellow or darken over time? The travertine will be used on a bathroom floor. There is great variation in color among tiles.

The polyester resin would be a better idea a that is what they make tracertine filler out of anyways. It is available in a UV resistant type which will not darken due to UV rays. You might want to call me on this at 800-289-6834.

Some will yellow over time, but if it is travertine it is a creme colored base anyways isn't it?

By the way, I never recommend filling travertine with sanded grout - as it breaks off it lays on the stone. When you walk on it you will scratch the surface.

Glad to be of service,
Mark
