I have installed 12" granite tile countertops. The grout lines are 1/16". There is an oak edge.  I will be using epoxy unsanded grout in black. What recommendations for a grout release? Any tricks?

Why epoxy unsanded grout and not just unsanded grout? I for one do not like epoxy rout.

As a grout release I would seal the granite first with a mineral based sealer. Try this:

It will seal the stone and act as a grout release.

Glad to be of service,
Mark
