Anybody ever dealt with what appears to be etched rings in marble tile on a vanity top? The rings are apparently from where one of those crystal deodorant stick containers sat. Says the stuff is natural mineral salts -- ammonium alum. I'm guessing it's somewhat acid and etched the surface.... Any ideas on handling those rings without grinding the tile down or replacing it?

Read the post below for "How do I clean Food stains on my Granite Tiles". It is the same for you. Clean the stains clean the stone, repolish with polishing compound if necessary then reseal.

Glad to be of service,
Mark
