I have a new granite vanity and want to know if it matters if you use bathroom adhesive caulking or  grout to seal around the wall so water won't get in.  We have been told many different ways.

The best way is to use 100% silicone. You can buy it in a caulk cartridge for easy application. It will not provide mold or bacteria a place to live. it is 100% waterproof. It is a great sealer - you can even use it for gluing your slab down!

Glad to be of service,
Mark
