I placed flowers in vases at my mothers headstone and they bleed from the rain.  They dye has now stained one spot on the headstone and pretty much ruined the vases.  The base is now red too, but is not my biggest concern. Can anyone tell me what would be best to clean these spots without doing any damage.  Will they fade over time?  The vases can be replaced, it's the spot on the headstone and the mass that ran along the base.

The same process as removing a sealer (caustic soda & water), when you are finished seal it with Hydrex.

Caustic soda is an alkali that you can get at any swimming pool supply store. It is commonly used to lower the acid level in swimming pools. Get the powder for and make a solution using water.

If you can't find caustic soda you can use Drano, but that will be more expensive.

Glad to be of service,
