i had previously seamed a counter top and it looks like i may have messed up with the poly and hardener or just did not get enough in the seam  to hold the pieces together. the seam cracked and the pieces were able to be separated. so i cleaned all the old glue out and i am just going to try again. what is the life of an opened can of tenex poly knifegrade  and hardener. I dont do a whole lot of counters so i am still using a can and hardener that is about a year old, not sure if that has something to do with it but the other seams seem to be doing good. What happens if i put to much hardener or to little hardener in the poly.
THANKS.

A year should be fine as long as it was closed tight when you used it last.
If you put too little hardener the chemial reaction will be slower. If you put too much then the chemical reaction will be fater. Think a pea size amount of hardener to a tablespoon of glue.
