I have granite countertop section made of 3/4" granite with a 1.5" x 3/4" piece glued around the perimeter creating a 1.5" thick edge, which is then shaped and finished.  I will be cutting the piece to fit my cabinets and will need to build up the edge around the sink to match.  I plan to do the same configuration with a strip of 1.5" x 3/4".

I was hoping for some recommendations on what type of adhesive to use and if I should use knife grade or flowing.  I will have about 6-7' that will need adhesive, any idea on the quanitity of adhesive needed?  Also, the granite is tan/brown, do you think I could get away with either black or brown to color the epoxy or will I need to mix multiple colors?

Thanks for any help!

Use a dark brwn color and mix it with a good flowing epoxy like stoneweld. The smallest kit we sell is 24 ounces and that would be plenty for your lamination.
You can see it here:

Glad to be of service,
