Mark
I am a custom remodeling contractor and I just had a kitchen of Blue Pearl installed in a project. The edges were dull at installation. The service tech came out yesterday and dry polished progressing from 400 grit to 5000 with no increase in sheen. He then tried "waxing" them (which seemed unusual to me) which raised them to a semi-gloss but nowhere near typical sheen. The edges are dull not white or discolored.

Any ideas?

Thank you,
Ron

After you repolish it starting at 100 grit tell me if you got to the gloss level you wanted.
If not let's look at the equipment you ar using.

It can be dry polished, but wet polishing it is easier. Wax should not be used on a countertop - whoever posted that it is for fabricators who don't know what they are doing is pretty right on with his summation!

Glad to be of service,
Mark
