I read the post about etched travertine.  It said to hire a professional restorer to polish and fill.  If I wanted to do this myself, what filler would I use to just fill the etching?  I ask because I saw on another post reply that the filler will pretty much only stay in holes that are over 1/16" deep.  Is there anything that will glaze to protect the stone itself, like the travertine sealer advertised on your site?  I ask because this is where the shower drips when shut off, and due to an improper install or substrate, water sits there and discolors the stone to a green color.  I assume the filler probably won't need its own sealer since it is a polymer?  Any help would be awesome!

Filling over an etch probably won't work as it isn't usually deep enough to hold the glue.
If you are looking for a topical barrier to prevent anything acidic interacting with the calcium in the marble (whichis the cause of etching) you can use a wax but it will be a maintenance issue - you will have to do it occasionally just like when you wax a car.
The more use the counter gets the more frequent you will have to do it.
You can find the waxes here:

Glad to be of service,
