I received my tenax travertine filler and am ready to get filling but first have a few questions.

(1) I'm wondering what measurement to use to mix up a small batch of it while keeping the ratio given (100 parts to 3 parts hardener)?

(2)  How long will I have to work with what I mix before it hardens?

(3)  It says it "cleans up" with denatured alcohol.  Does that mean I can clean off the stone with denatured alcohol (where it gets over applied beyond the holes)?

(4)  Can it be cleaned off the stone with denatured alcohol once it's dried?

Thanks in advanced for your help!

3% hardener to glue, so 3 drops to a tablespoon.

10 minutes or so depending on ambient temperature. Faster if you put in too much hardener and longer if you put in too little.

You can clean up the travertine filler with a rag that has denatured alcohol on it. You can clean stone that way also but the clean up is referring to the glue.

One it has dries it is easier to scrape the build up off carefully with a razor blade and then use a rag with either denatured alcohol or acetone on it. Much easier to clean it off before it hardens.

Glad to be of service,
Mark

Thanks for the reply.   Smiley

The bathroom is looking great but some of the travertine does need some holes filled.

I really appreciate this forum and your products.
