Last year we had granite counter tops installed in Baltic Brown and I just love the color! The guy that installed the granite was referred by my neighbor and was a friend of a friend and did the installs as a side job. The guy came late to do the work and when he finished it was already late in the evening and he rushed to do the sealer. I noticed right away there were a lot of pits and cracks. Also some areas looked like they have small water rings? I kept telling my husband he needed to get the guy back out here but he kept lagging. My neighbor has since moved and we don't have the guys number anymore. Here it is a year later and the pits and cracks have become even more noticeable now. Is there anyway to fill in these pits and cracks? Also in some areas the granite is starting to look dull and even worse on the edges around the sink. How can we get these areas shiny again?

Can you post up some pictures so I know if this is a DIY repair or if you need a restoration professional?

Most minor cracks or chipping in natural stone can be repaired by a specialist in the stone renovation business or by a qualified fabricator.
