The edge of my granite has a rough kinda rippled look to it when you look down it.  Any idea what this is.  Guy used a router and then polished.  Should this look like this.  Is this the standard?
Thought maybe it would be smooth and look like the top of the granite.

I slight wave is not unusual with hand polishing, but if it is ripples then it sounds like it needs to be repolished starting at 50 grit. Can you post some pictures so we know what you are dealing with? Also, If you let me know where you are I can try and get a professional to come out and take a look at it.

Thanks Mark...I will get you some pictures.  I did ask him and he says that he is using the rough/coarse router bit and then going right to polishing pads.  Should he be using another bit before he polishes?
