Brazilian Green Slate Sink

Anyone heard of using Marine Grade Urethane to bond slate Farmers sinks together with? I have been using Chemorset 100 G AB Epoxy with good success on granite sinks but I have a Brazilian green slate sink that I am having problems with, leaking. Another fabricator recommended Urethane as that is what he uses but he also bolts his sinks together. I'm thinking more that the stone is structurally inferior. Thoughts?

If the slate is delaminating (coming apart) you could use a penetrting epoxy on it to bond it. I like that much netter than Urethane for structural integrity.
