Looking for a bit or cutter to cut drain holes in soapstone sinks.

As you know soapstone can be cut using wood working tools. We are going to start fabricating sinks. I would like a cutter or bit that would fit in a large drill press.

Also blades that would fit a standard circular saw for cutting soapstone slabs.

                                                                    Thanks Mike

Why not use a stone core bit? They are available in many diameters and will drill efficiently.
What diameter hole are you making?

Its not just a hole. It needs to have a 3 1/2" hole all the way thru the sink then a 4 1/2" recessed area around the hole so that the strainer basket will sit flush with the sink bottom.

I can do this in a two step process drill the 3 1/2" hole then machine down the 4 1/2" recessed area

We are new to soapstone fabrication so if you could give me a part # that would be great. Also I'm looking for a cutting tool that will fit in a drill press if possible.
