Keeping granite in long term unheated storage
«

Some one told me that Granite tops kept in unheated storage in the northeast, should be sealed if kept in storage for more than 1 year. I find this hard to believe. Does anyone know anything about it?
Thanks.

We store our slabs outside with no problem and it's in the teens right now. The only problem I have found is that some material will fade in direct sun light. Never heard of sealing it though till I installed it.
