Hi there! I'm hoping you all can help me - we have polished granite counter tops in our new house and while they're nice, I really love the look of honed granite. I know this sounds crazy, but is there any way I can "knock-down" the finish of our counters for a honed, matte look? Thanks so much!

Yes they can be honed. You use a couple of the coarse polishing pads to knock the gloss off and then use a honing powder after it for a consistent finish. Some then use a color enhancer on the stone.

Glad to be of service,
Mark
