My granit counter tops look great in night lighting, but during the day in natural light I can see lots of small pits in the surface.  Can I do anything to minimize this pits like fill them with something?

Roger,
How big are the pits? If they are the small dimples which are less than 1/16" in diameter that is because it is stone and is imperfect. If it is larger you should fill them like in DVD 3 (which I know you have). If you want to make them less visible try Pectro by Tenax. The dimples will appear to hide because of the stain.
